You are invited to our Directed Retreat Week August 12th - 18th, 2018. This retreat will be hosted Sunday dinner through Saturday lunch. Three or four day options are also available. Call us for details 754-7376. Pre-register by 7/29/2018.
Plan now for your own individually directed retreat week here in Western New York this summer. A directed retreat is an opportunity for retreatants to grow in intimacy with God. Through the practice of silence, prayer, and other contemplative activities under the daily guidance of a spiritual director, the retreatants are led into a deeper relationship with God and a special awareness of God’s grace and presence in their lives.
Check-in will begin on Sunday, August 12th any time after 3:00 pm, with check-out on Saturday after lunch; earlier or later times may be arranged with advance notice. The retreat will formally begin with dinner at 5:00 pm on Sunday and conclude on Saturday, August 18th after lunch. Silence will be practiced throughout most of the retreat. Additional discounted nights before and after the retreat are available upon request. (Also, Stella Niagara sisters will be praying for you during your retreat week.)
Fr. Tom Hartle, OFM will be the priest serving this retreat week. Spiritual directors scheduled for the week are Sr. Marian Baumler, SSMN; Sr. Nancy Fortkort, OSF; Sr. Donna Lord, GNSH; Sr. Jean Thompson, OSF. You can express your preference(s) for a specific director on your registration form below or trust us to prayerfully assign one to you. Requests for directors will be assigned on a first-come basis.
