THE MASTER'S VINEYARD (All day Saturday, October 12, 2019)
"Taste and See" how wine has been mentioned, consumed, and used for the telling of parables all throughout scripture, as we tour local wineries and focus on the scriptural history of wine. We can offer a Catholic or Ecumenical Christian format, and provide a scriptural and historical narrative as we travel throughout the Niagara USA Wine Region and sample the "fruit of the vine" (non-alcoholic substitutions are available). The highlight of this experience is a "communion in the vineyard" where we'll sample wine among the vines and gardens (an actual communion service can be arranged for groups led by ordained priests or ministers if desired).
Includes motor coach transportation plus lunch and samples (wine tastings or non-alcoholic options) at multiple wineries, with discounts on purchases at the wineries. Seven-hour tour led by expert host/guide Peter Green (local historian and faith musician).

OPTION #2: NIAGARA FRONTIER FAITH & HERITAGE TRAIL/CHRISTIAN PERSPECTIVE (All day Saturday, September 14, 2019)
A diverse and vibrant Christian community served as the foundation for the people of Western New York as far back as 1678. Sites of interest include St. Paul Episcopal Cathedral - an architectural jewel in downtown Buffalo. Also included is the Michigan Street Baptist Church, a site of great activity and community activism during the era of the Underground Railroad. The tour views and visits numerous locations throughout our region, all of which create a tapestry of many differing peoples, expressions of faith and styles of worship. Tour the First Presbyterian Church in Lockport and gaze on the magnificent Tiffany Windows, and witness a tiny stone chapel built on the Erie Canal by a man who wanted to marry his bride in a replica of his village Church in England, which he paid to have built just for his wedding! This experience transcends the barriers of denomination and celebrates our Christian Heritage.
Includes coach transportation, lunch and admission to sites of interest, and expert host/guide Peter Green (local historian and faith musician).

OPTION #3: NIAGARA FRONTIER FAITH & HERITAGE TRAIL/CATHOLIC JOURNEY (All day Saturday, September 21, 2019)
The Catholic Church arrived in the Niagara Frontier with the first missionaries in 1678, and continued to impact this region with French soldiers, immigrants, and more. Multi-cultural Catholic communities helped to serve the needs of the growing flock of believers in an area experiencing significant growth in numerous capacities ... education, health care, economics, industry, social services, and other major community systems.
Our historic adventure will begin with a tour of the Stella Niagara Sisters' Chapel, followed by a relaxing motor coach excursion to the site of Father Hennepin's first Mass celebrated at Niagara Falls, the famed Our Lady of Victory Basilica in Lackawanna, Our Lady of Fatima Shrine in Lewiston, Old Fort Niagara's Chapel, and more. Experience a voyage that enlightens guests as to the Catholic influence, contributions to social programs, education, and many other parts of life in Western New York. Learn more about Blessed Father Baker, World War II Father Conway, and others who have (and still do) contribute to the rich history of Catholicism in the Niagara Frontier.
